1. Hyundai Exter 2023

The 1.2-liter Kappa control engine of the Hyundai Explorer, a compact SUV, produces a maximum power of 83PS and a peak torque of 114Nm.

For the engine, there is a five-speed manual or a five-speed automated manual transmission available. The Exter also comes with an option for a factory-installed CNG powertrain, which comes with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard.

The engine of the rival is weaker and provides a less sophisticated ride than the Exter’s. The Exter also has paddle shifters, which allow for quick downshifts and the most enjoyable driving experience of any car in its class.

2. Maruti Brezza 2023

The ex-showroom price range for the Tata Punch CNG is Rs 7.10 lakh to Rs 9.68 lakh.


There are five different Tata Punch CNG models to choose from: Pure, Adventure, Adventure Rhythm, Accomplished, and Accomplished Dazzle.

A 1.2-liter NA petrol engine with 84 horsepower and 115 Nm of peak torque is available for the Tata Punch CNG. A 5-speed MT gearbox is matched with this engine.

The engine produces 103 Nm of peak torque and 72 bhp of power when operating in CNG mode. With two 30-liter cylinders, the car is equipped with twin-cylinder technology.


26.99 km/kg is the mileage of the CNG version.


The Tata Punch CNG has a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with two tweeters and four speakers, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Among the other improvements are automatic projector headlamps, push-button engine start/stop, and automatic climate control.

The Glanza is powered by a 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine that produces 113 Nm of torque and 89 horsepower.

This engine can be mated to a 5-speed AMT or a 5-speed manual transmission. The same engine generates 76 horsepower when used exclusively with a 5-speed manual transmission in CNG mode.

A 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 103 horsepower and 137 Nm, fitted with mild hybrid technology, powers the Maruti Suzuki XL6. Either a new six-speed automatic transmission or a five-speed manual transmission comes with it.

The same engine (87.83PS and 121.5Nm) is also offered in a new CNG version that has a five-speed manual transmission.


The car’s seven-inch infotainment system, which supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats, paddle shifters,

an outside temperature gauge, and a 360-degree camera are among its standout features. A height-adjustable driver seat, auto air conditioning, and cruise control are also included.


Several safety features come standard with the Maruti Suzuki XL6, including electronic stability control with hill-hold assist, emergency alerts, emergency brake notification, smartwatch connectivity, TPMS, and ABS with EBD.
